Joe Woodson

 

 

 

Singer and songwriter Joe Woodson has been an entertainer for over 25 years.

His earliest musical experiences include singing in Charlotte, NC area colleges, bars, and churches.

 

In 1977, Joe won a best actor award in a N.C. Regional Drama competition. He was a writer and vocalist for The Blackjacks, with whom he toured North Carolina and Tennessee. Joe also performed for a year with The Nationals.

 

In 1993 Joe was selected to perform solo at the Jim Ed Brown Theatre in Nashville, and

Joe’s song “She Don’t Love Me” was used on the “Tongue-Tied” movie soundtrack

 

In 1997 Joe teamed with musician and producer Paul Rosenberg. Together they have released three recordings -Looking Away (1998), Come Back For Real (2001), and the 2005 release-The Right Place.

 

Joe’s recordings have enjoyed local, regional and international airplay.
